Enter the Stage the Wave video contest for a chance to win an HD video camera or gear from your institution. College representatives from OSU, PSU and UO will choose a winner for each institution based on originality, style and spirit, with each finalist receiving a collection of CCF gear from their favorite institution. A grand prize of a Flip MinoHD video camera in the color of choice will be awarded to the qualifying participant with the most overall views on YouTube.
Follow the steps below to participate:
Stage Your Wave: Gather your friends, deck them in the colors of your institution, and film them doing the wave. Pick an original or unique location. Use your creativity. Production values don't matter as much as spirit and originality.
Add the College Colors Friday URL (collegecolorsfriday.com) to the end of your video.
Upload your video to YouTube and post it as a Video Response to our official contest video.
Send your video to your friends and colleagues to spread the word and gather views on YouTube. The qualifying video with the most views by the end of the contest will receive the grand prize. An OSU, PSU and UO finalist will also be selected by representatives from each institution.
Video Requirements
All submissions should be made in good taste, be respectful, and appropriate for any audience
You must have permission to use all materials in the video (including music, photos, etc.) if they are covered by copyright
All videos should clearly include a College or University’s colors as well as the name of the school in the video.
At the end of the video the College Colors Friday’s web site (CollegeColorsFridays.com) needs to appear.
The videos must be related to a college or university but are not restricted to just Portland State, Oregon State or UO.
Eligibility
This contests is open to anyone.
Deadline
To qualify, your video must be posted as a video response on YouTube by May 1, 2009.
